NZProtein's Pea Peptides is pea protein powder that's been fully hydrolysed into peptides, meaning that the protein can be absorbed by the body nearly immediately and doesn't need digesting.

This product is processed with enzymes to break down protein chains into smaller units which are "pre-digested", meaning that they bypass digestion and are absorbed by the blood stream very quickly.

Mixing Instructions
This product is not like regular pea protein. It is a very specialised product for those with digestive requirements or those who want a fast acting plant protein. Hydrolysis breaks down protein into smaller peptides and amino acids, allowing them to bypass digestion and be aborbed very quickly.
It mixes clear and has no graininess. However, due to hydrolysis Pea Peptides is naturally very bitter and needs considerably more liquid than other protein powders.
Mix two scoops (31.25g) in a minimum of 600-1000ml of water or other liquid. If you find it bitter then add more liquid. In saying that, it doesn't have the earthy taste of typical pea protein so it can be used in other applications that regular pea protein can't. For example - as tomato juice!

Because we are the manufacturer and an internet based retailer, our overheads are lower and we have driven the price of protein powders down in New Zealand. There is no need for pea protein to be overly expensive.

Here at NZProtein we always strive to be the best at what we do. We invest heavily in research and development to have innovative products and the best flavours.
We stand firmly behind our products so we have commenced periodic batch testing of products by independent third party laboratories. These test reports will provide further evidence of the standards we adhere to.
Please note that we will not be able to test every flavour due to the costs - there are simply too many flavours and various batches manufactured. For example, in the NZ Whey alone we have over 20 flavours, so it is not practicable to test every flavour in every batch but we will periodically submit samples in various flavours for analysis.
